Notice from ITSP for those relocating to Shimane Prefecture from the Tokyo metropolitan area

Would you like to consider relocating to Shimane Prefecture from the Tokyo metropolitan area?

Wakuwaku Shimane Life Realization Support Project

This is a program that provides relocation support grants to people who move from the Tokyo 23 wards (those who have lived or worked there for at least 5 years) to Shimane Prefecture Shimane Prefecture and meet certain conditions.

Support grant amounts:

* Household: 1,000,000 yen
(If relocating with a household member under 18 years old, an additional 1,000,000 yen is provided per child under 18)
* Single applicant: 600,000 yen

Note: The additional amount for children under 18 applies only to those who moved on or after April 1, 2023.

Please note that applications may close once the budget limit is reached.

Eligibility examples:

* Apply for a job listed under this program on “Kurashimanet,” or obtain employment as a professional human resources candidate through the Professional Human Resources Project, etc.
* Continue working remotely for a company while relocating, if you are currently employed and residing in the Tokyo 23 wards
* Be recognized as a “related population” who has had deep ties with the local community before relocating to the municipality
* Receive approval for the startup support grant and plan to start a business in Shimane Prefecture
